Princess Lenaea remembers when her father, King Loktra, was not called the Mad King. But those days, like the days where she thought she could live a happy life, are gone. The poisonous atmosphere inside the castle hardened even Lenaea's once innocent soul, and now she trusts no one except for Colonel Hadax. The leader of the Kings Guard taught Lenaea swordcraft in secret after much badgering, and now she could hold her own against many a man. But the princess keeps her skill hidden, not wanting to expose it until the day she has to. She thinks that time is coming soon. Whispers of discontent in Aradena grow louder, dark forces are rumoured to grow beyond the walls, and still the rot inside the castle continues to grow. Lenaea doesn't know if she can save the Kingdom, or if she even wants to. But she can save herself from being anyone's pawn.
